Terminal

Airport, Baggage Claim, Escalator, Ground Transportation, Lindbergh Field, San Diego, San Diego International Airport, Terminal 1

January 2nd is typically one of the busiest travel days in North America as most people start heading home after the Christmas holiday season. This is terminal 1 in San Diego’s International Airport (Lindbergh Field), I was lucky to have a few seconds for this image where the airport appears deserted but in reality it was packed and I couldn’t even find a seat in the waiting area! You can see the reflections of one person going down the escalator so it wasn’t completely deserted, in case someone gets technical :)

Troubled Times

Everywhere we look we are reminded of the tough economic times that the globe is experiencing. This was taken at San Diego’s International Airport, which according to my knowledge is the busiest one runway airport in North America! Its sad to see all these gates closed but this is a phase in a cycle and hopefully the good time are just around the corner…
