El Pescador Fish Market has quite an interesting history, it initially opened up for business by an ambitious nineteen year old (Jeff Norris) in Del Mar back in 1974. As he grew his business his customers demanded more than just fresh seafood, they also expected to have some of the fresh seafood on the spot which was the beginnings of the Deli concept. Another mural from La Jolla which was taken right around the fish market! This was hidden down an alley and probably doesn’t get a lot traffic, I thought it was neat and the blue definitely stuck out.
