The Beach House

Beach house in La Jolla, Architecture, The Beach house, HDR, La Jolla Cove, Night HDR, Waving Flag

I would only imagine that is known as “The Beach House” in La Jolla Cove, its located right on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. I took this image right after the sun had set and before the sky turns pitch black. Happy Friday everyone :)

A beach house in La Jolla that is literally living on the edge of the American Continent!

Magic Door

Abstract, Barrier, Beach house, La Jolla, La Jolla Cove, Magic Door, Stone Wall, Wall

One of the beach houses that are at La Jolla Cove has a brick wall that covers their backyard. I’ve always wanted to see what is behind this Magic door, every time I walk by it I feel like I’m in some kind of fairy tale where this door will open I get to enter the Kingdom :) Yeah I have an imagination, hope you’re enjoying the weekend.

La Jolla Sunset

HDR, La Jolla sunset, Pacific Ocean, La Jolla Cove, Beach house, Landscape

We had one of those gorgeous days in San Diego yesterday (74F/23C) and I couldn’t help but hit the ocean for some fresh air. I wish we had some clouds to make the sky a bit more interesting for the imagery but with these kind of temperatures in mid February I’m just grateful :)

Venice Beach house

Just a beach house right on the boardwalk in Venice Beach, I placed the sun purposely in the frame trying to get a more colorful image :) I would say 75% of the beach houses can be rented for the weekend or a few days and their price ranges from $300-$2000/night depending on the size of the house and the amenities provided. Around peak tourist season, expect a lot of college kids splitting the cost of such prime locations and crowding the areas.
