San Diego is considered the birth place of the fish taco, and in my opinion no fish taco is complete without some lemons & avocados.
An image of some Cannolis at a Portuguese bakery (Jack’s bakery) in Toronto. Even though Cannolis are a Sicilian pastry the two communities, Portuguese & Italian, are closely tied in the city of Toronto. Unfortunately I shot this image through glass and you can see some of the condensation that was formed by the refrigeration.
A plate of beef Pad Thai at some Thai restaurant in Toronto.
A bowl of yellow chicken curry at some restaurant in Toronto from my trip back in the summer.
The Bento C lunch box/combo at Niban Sushi which is made up of: Chicken Katsu, Steamed Shumai, Combination Sushi, Tuna Sashimi and California Rolls.
I took an image of these delicious mini cheesecakes at a Portuguese bakery in Toronto. It was a ritual that every time I visited my brother we would go to this bakery to have an espresso with some Portuguese custard tarts which are much harder to find in San Diego so I had to take advantage of my visit
A bowl of Miso Soup which can be commonly found at Sushi houses all around the world.
This the Pizza Laguna from Pizza Port in their Solana Beach branch; they are local pizza chain that has 4 locations in the Southern California region. Pizza Laguna is one their original vegetarian pizzas which is made of olives, mushrooms, onions & artichoke hearts.
Hefeweizen is also known as wheat beer which is typically brewed with a large proportion of wheat in addition to malted barley. The two most popular styles of Hefeweizen are Belgian & German, I’m probably slightly in favor of the Belgian. This being Superbowl Sunday, I’m sure there will be some alcohol served at a lot of parties, if you are going to drink then please don’t drive. Enjoy the game everyone
