2013With it being Saturday and all, I thought it would be fitting to post a picture of La Jolla’s Recreation Center as most of us should be enjoying the time off. Happy Saturday

2013I wanted to have a little bit of fun with the pedestrian crosswalk by creating a bit of a motion blur to show that you should always look both ways before crossing
I also entered this image into the movement and motion competition at the digital lightroom photography blog. It’s a great blog to follow if you want to improve your digital photography techniques, they frequently run competitions such as this one with some great photography goodies for the top three prize winners. Good luck to all entrants.

2013An image of Bailey, the Los Angeles Kings mascot, pausing to watch the action on the ice as the Los Angeles Kings try to rally from a one goal deficit. I was really amazed at how effective he was in getting the crowd back in the game to support the local team, whoever does this job needs to be outgoing, funny & quite the acrobat; I always wonder if this is a full-time job or part-time?!

2013The news is reporting that the economy is slowly turning around and its beginning to recover, I guess it didn’t apply to this surf shop that is located right at the beach in Pacific Beach, San Diego! The location can’t really get any better, I’ve seen a couple of of them being flipped into bars which will automatically attract many college students so I wonder how long this place will be closed down for.
