2012Vacation Rentals
Based on the sign I’m assuming this is a leasing office for vacation rentals, it was quite an interesting structure in the heart of Pacific Beach. With the end of the summer holidays I’m sure they are going to see a dip in business, I know it will be easier to park around the beaches in a couple of weeks

What kind of lens or software do you use to get this dimensional warped look?

Hey Jeni, I shoot with Canon 5DII which has a full frame sensor so there is not crop factor for me. The lens that I was shooting with EF 16-35 and I was at 16mm… so on my camera that is a true 16mm and hence the distortion/warping that you see. “Most” SLRs have a 1.5 or 1.6 crop factor so when you are shooting @ 16mm its really like me shooting 26mm (16mm x 1.6 = 25.6mm) and hence you don’t see as much distortion. Let me know if this made sense or if you have any other questions

Have you been up to Encinitas to see the boat houses? Hmmm. Maybe I should do a post on them.
