2012“How many roads must a man walk down
Before they call him a man
How many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand
How many times must the cannonballs fly
Before they are forever banned

The answer is blowing in the wind”From Blowing in the Wind by Bob Dylan

Thanks now I’m going to be singing that song all day.
Terrific shot.

The wind wispers…
claudine
but a great song, indeed, a really great music!!!
The problem, still is… to take one of them (roads) which may take you very far away… and no one is without “ups and downs”….
and the wind keeps wispering…

Another wonderful take Bashar
. Thank you for posting the lyrics too
Great idea! Maybe I can convince you to post mp3 to your photos as I did?

Such a pretty shot! (and even prettier day!) I knew it HAD to be taken in California even before noting the tags—something about the sunlight, I suppose, but there’s a signature “look” that makes CA identifiable regardless of the medium!
I really like your blog, btw! Time to become a “follower”

I love road photos! In photography class in high school, we went out to a deserted area of Nevada, and I took dozens of photos of the long stretch of road. Haven’t heard that song but it’s a great fit for this photo.

Why does that street look so familiar? Great shot! Do you remember what street it was?

A cool song with a cool picture!

An interesting picture. Almost a like a portrait of suburban US. The question is of course will it ever change? Do I sense a bit sarcasm in this post?
