Nice to read you have such a positive outlook on the construction. I’m always so negative about it, like oh gawd they are working on the roads again?! Maybe I need to look at it in a different light …

Back in Toronto I had many friends that work the “construction” industry… I also did it for a summer back when I was school. HUGE respect for what they do, its truly hard labor!!

realistic HDR ! n good contrast against the blue sky
zelmare
That blue is quite intense! Please send them over here to start fixing all the pot holes?

I submitted your request, I’ll update on when they’re going to make it down to SA

You are too kind!

LOVE this one… My husband taught heavy equipment. I enjoyed rides on a lot of these large boy-toys. On a side note… is this really HDR? If so, you’re doing an excellent job of it. I love that it doesn’t scream HDR at you. The ones that are obviously HDR really bug me. They’re kind of unnerving.

It is really an HDR… 95%+ of the images I post are HDR. Too many people think HDR is about taking multiple exposures and throwing them into Photomatix and you’re done. Those are the ones I believe you hate and I share your feelings
Gunta
So now you have me tempted to try it. Any suggestions? What are you using? I’m on a Mac, can you suggest software? If you’d like you can email me (my addy should come through in the WP notice when I comment).

Fabulous use of wide angle! Great colors.

How did this get by me? Very strong image. You have a natural sense of composition.

Thanks Mike, thats very nice of you to say… however I have to tip my hat off to you when it comes to composition. You’ve definitely got an eye for it

As do you my brother. Your stuff is always well balanced.
