Its Tuesday and I guess its time to show some tacos and since I live in San Diego I think we are known for Fish Tacos. The taco in focus is a Mahi fish taco and the one with cheddar cheese is an octupus taco 
Both are delicious and I’ve had them numerous times, not every fish taco is the same though! These ones were from Bahia Don Bravo in La Jolla which I recommend. If you are really hungry then you can order some chips and have some of what appears to be some home made sauces which are amazing and you can have as much as you want from them so don’t be fooled by my little setup, that was just for the photo

I think the trick is the quality of fish and the sauce… each place has their own “special” sauce, thats what I’ve noticed

I never eat taco, but it seems delicious. Now I think I have to taste it, so I’m going to looking for a snack bar near here…Goodbye my slimming cure! :-S

Just because I’m living in Southern California now I find this very shocking
I wouldn’t go as far as saying you’re missing out, but I would say you should definitely give them a try, just make sure its authentic Mexican and not some chain.

I agree – it is shocking! But I’m trying to think if I’ve ever seen a Mexican restaurant here in SA, and I don’t believe I have… I know one of the chains (Spur) have some Mexican food on their menu, but it might not be anything like the real thing. I’ll definitely be on the lookout now for tacos!!!

Bahia Don Bravo is excellent, although I must admit that I’ve never had a fish taco anywhere. Something about “fish” and “taco” next to each other in a sentence just doesn’t sit well with me. Fish is fish, and tacos need real meat! lol
I spend Taco Tuesday at On The Border where tacos are $1.99 each. Add in happy hour margaritas and I’m good to go.

I had the same thoughts until I finally tried it… grilled fish tacos are my faves now!!! Try it……………..
